Lecturer
Prosper Joy Zarate is a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years of professional experience spanning public practice, corporate accounting, and international finance operations. She has held key roles in multinational organizations, including Collective Intelligence Group/CI Support Philippines, Cloudstaff (CPA Group Australia), and Venture Securities, where she specialized in financial reporting, compliance, reconciliation, and corporate governance.
Her expertise covers a wide range of accounting systems and regulatory frameworks, with proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, Netsuite, and Unleashed Inventory System. She has extensive background in financial statement preparation, risk-based reporting, intercompany transactions, and ensuring compliance with Philippine regulatory agencies.
Beyond her technical accounting practice, Prosper Joy is deeply committed to advancing ethical standards in the profession. She integrates her corporate and international experience into her teaching, guiding CPAs and professionals in applying ethical principles to real-world accounting and business challenges.
She is also a Registered Cost Accountant (RCA), a Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (MICB), and a DOLE OSHC Safety Officer Level 1, further strengthening her multidimensional perspective on ethics, accountability, and professional responsibility.
